I cast a retrospective eye over ‘Embryo’ (1976), a cautionary tale of genetic engineering, human hubris, and playing God, and ‘Deadly Harvest’ (1977) an eco-collapse survivalist story set when ‘global cooling’ was all the rage.
I’m off to Scotland very soon for a much needed holiday, so there’ll be a little break in activity while I’m away.
